Live music industry frustrated as government delays lifting of Covid-19 restrictions

Set to lose an estimated £36 million as approximately 4,000 gigs are cancelled across the UK following the government's announcement of a minimum of a months delay to the lifting of restrictions which would have allowed gig venues to have opened at full capacity and live music to take place.

With government support yet to be announced, obviously event organisers, live music venues, musicians and performers and various support staff are concerned.
