Spotify meets musician critics face to face

Last week Spotify set up 3 artist-only meetings in the US so they could chat directly with the musicians who have concerns over their streaming service and, most prominently, the revenue rates that they offer to artists and songwriters, which in general are deemed to be too low.

It seems that the main message Spotify is trying to convey is that, whilst they will not be adapting their model to increase percentage revenues, they should work together with artists to help grow Spotify users so there is ultimately more money for everyone.
