Warner Music & Shazam join forces to unearth unsigned acts

Major label, Warner Music Group, and song identifying app, Shazam, have announced an innovative partnership which will discover new bands and artists and sign them to their newly formed joint label. Combining Warner Music's A&R and development skills and Shazam's fan activity data, artists working with the Shazam imprint label will be able to engage directly with fans who have seeked them out via the app and promote themselves further.
