Gig tickets: too cheap or too steep?

We came across this interesting debate in The Guardian regarding the price of gig tickets. Recently concert promoters have warned it may be necessary to increase the cost of tickets in order to counteract the re-sale market. Considering some gig tickets can be rather pricy as it is, this must seem a little unfair and off-putting to consumers.
