Digital music sales top 1 billion big ones!

So, there's good news and bad news. I'll give you the bad news first...the trend of declining music sales is still continuing throughout the UK, despite prices for music on the whole being much less than ever before. Oh dear. But here's some good news to perk you up...digital music sales are on the up and the UK has managed to rack up a whopping £1 billion spent on digital music. Digital sales are definitely on the increase - up 12% last year, but sadly the same cannot be said for physical formats which, as expected, are continually dropping.
